Light Shielding masterbatch is a functional plastic additive, which is synthesized by high concentration of shading fillers and composite dispersion, giving substrate plastics (such as PC, PP, ABS, PMMA, etc.) the ability to completely block light while maintaining the original mechanical properties and processing characteristics of the material.

I. Core indicators:

•Light transmittance <1% (ASTM D1003 standard).

• UV blocking> 99% (280-400 nm band).

• Temperature resistance (adapted to substrate processing temperature, such as PC can reach 300℃)

II. Application fields

• Optoelectronic industry: LED lamp holder, lamp tube bottom shell,

• Consumer Electronics: Small appliance cases, smartphone camera shade rings (e.g. iPhone 16 Pro Max lens module).

• Automotive industry:  Lidar hood (shade + weather resistant, tested by SAE J2527).

• Medical Packaging:  Photosensitive drug bottle (in accordance with USP <671> light protection standard). 

Third,  the addition ratio is 1:3, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7, according to the thickness of the sample.
